An ever-shifting conversation between body, memory, language, and ecology unfolds within my practice. Trained in biology and chemistry before turning to art, I carry the observational precision of the sciences into drawing, installation, performance, and video. At the core of my work lies a sensitivity to situatedness, and the processes that emerge from it: paper buried in the soil, clay shaped into communal architectures, algae weaving invisible boundaries on a lake, or voices that fracture and recombine across languages. I work between Germany and Kurdistan: teaching school students in Northrhein-Westfalia, teaching pedagogical tools to artists at the art school in Braunschweig, and unlearning with my peers in Berlin and Erbil.
